Released at SXSW 2026, the SXSW Filmmakers Jacket was created exclusively for film and tv directors at the festival. The 1st ever SXSW Filmmakers Jacket was modeled after the Unless plastic-free mechanics jacket. The 300 pieces feature bold, 100% cotton, embroidered “Film Makers Club” graphics on the back and front. This cherished collectable was designed by SXSW Film & TV and Unless to celebrate the drive, creativity and dedication of Film & TV directors.

The jackets were launched at the SXSW Filmmaker's Lounge in a hands-on experience showing the process of creating the jacket to its eventual return to the earth. Some came for the amazing music and local brew, but many Filmmakers came by to see live worms eating the jacket.

ate mostly tacos the whole week...
